The second song is called the letter not keys to the highway.

  2. 50sResearchCenter Says:

No, the second song is “All over again”, later known as “I’ve got a mind to give up living” (Live in Kansas City 1972). The mistake came into this world because of wrong credits on some BB King compilations (like the cheap Blues Collection vol 2) where this song was listed as “The Letter”. The confusion may have been caused by the second verse: “I read your letter this morning”. But the song “The Letter” has lyrics that begin with “I want to write a letter, but I don’t know just where to begin”.

Third song is “The Jungle” from the album of the same name (Kent KLP-5021/KST-521).

I can tell you that the first song is “Whole Lotta Loving”, the second is “Keys to the Highway”…I have no idea what the third song is though.

  6. 909kong Says:

I hope you’re not referring to the “got a good mind to give up living” lyric from “The Letter”. That’s rough at 17, “jgatlin”. Tough song, though…

Nobody plays or sings the blues like BB King Does. So powerful. Doesn’t bother playing 1 million notes when he can speak volumes with just a few choice notes
