    Krawtwerk were probably the first electronic pop band.
    1980s was the worst decade in the history – people wore black bin bags and though they looked cool! I lived in Sheffield too – it was a great place despite the music.

    Cabaret Voltaire were before Kraftwerk and The human league

    I’m a big fan of the cabs and prefer them to kraftwerk and the aweful Human league, but non of their material was officially released untill 1978, and Kraftwerk already had 4 albums by then, Caberet Voltaire followed in the slipstream of Throbbing Gristle
